Lake Champlain

Is a fresh water lake and part of the Great Lakes drainage system through the St. Lawrence river.  It is 125 miles long and 14 miles across at its widest point, with a maximum depth of 460 feet.  It borders New York, Vermont, and Quebec.

Cumberland Head is a peninsula which juts out to the east and curves south producing Cumberland Bay (Plattsburgh Bay) to the west.

Welcome to our cabin on Cumberland Head!

Cumberland Head is located just north of Plattsburgh, NY, across Cumberland Bay.  Our cottage is located on the west side of the head.  This is one of the few locations on the NY side of Lake Champlain which has beautiful sunsets.

The cottage has been completely remodeled inside.  (2 bedrooms, 1 bath, sleeps 4-6 people.)  No pets.

A Perfect getaway. Available from May  through Oct.
